I purchased the mini lemons. The pattern is lovely and the material is nice. The mini size is def only useful for essentials if you want it to fully close. I.e. one foundation, one eyeliner, one lippy etc. If you want "options " the larger one would be better (or i wonder if a medium sized would actually be ideal as the large one seems quite large) I like the little velcro pouch on the outside and the elastic rings on the inside for brushes and the zip pounch inside for small items (eg hairclip) Also i've seen other versions which have a flap over the top once you pull the drawstring which i think would be a good addition. I also think its slightly expensive for what it is, but i do still really like it.
